Steve Doocy’s full name is Stephen James Steve and he was born in the year 1956. He is American network television personality at Fox News and he is a bestselling author. He was born in the city of Algona in Iowa and he is a son to JoAnne and to James Edward Doocy. His father was working in the sales and construction. The paternal grandfather is of Irish descent and he got raised in the city of Abilene in Kansas.

He went to Kansas grade school at Russell, Industry and Salina. He attended junior high school at Wakefield and then high school at Clay Center in Kansas. He finished the University of Kansas in the city of Lawrence and did BS of Journalism. He was the first man to work as on air DJ at KJHK radio, a radio station operated by student at Lawrence.
Early in the career, Steve Doocy became the morning newscast anchor at WCBS-TV, a flagship station of CBS-TV in the city of New York. Before he was working as the co-host for Wake Up America at NBC cable and then worked as the host of syndicated program called House Party with Steve Doocy. This was the remake of the Art Linkletter show in the 1960s.
He was also a host of the Not Just News, a syndicated series for kids. He won an Emmy Award as a features reporter at WRC of Washington D.C and then at NBC Television station division. The early television posts did include the news positions in Des Moines, Topeka, Wichita and Kansas City. He was the reporter at Times Square at Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin Eve at ABC-TV of Four ball drops.
Steve Doocy had joined Fox News Channel of 1996 and started the co-hosting on the Fox& Friends in the year 1998. In the year 2004, he did help to launch the Eve Special of Fox News Channels called All American New Year; other hosts were Megyn Kelly and Bill Hemmer.
The Fox & Friends program got prominence after Donald Trump election since he had become a regular on air contributor on this program for some years before his own campaign. After the election, Trump said that it was an honest morning show. Steve Doocy was in the controversy when he was said that he was treating Gretchen Carlson in condensing and sexist manner like shushing her in a live telecast by pulling her.
According to his biography, Steve Doocy is also an author and his books become the New York Times bestseller. His first book was called The Mr. and Mrs Happy Handbook and another one is Tales from the Dad Side. Steve Doocy got married and had three children and one of them is Peter Doocy, another Fox news reporter. He is living at Wyckoff, in New Jersey. He is a lector in Roman Catholic.
