Herman Cain was born on December 13, 1945 in Memphis, TN. Cain graduated with a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Morehouse College in 1967. He then got a master's degree in computer science from Purdue University in 1971.
In 1977, Herman Cain joined the Pillsbury Company in Minneapolis. Inside five years he had ascended to the role of Vice-President of Corporate Systems and Services, making him, at 32, the most youthful VP throughout the entire existence of the partnership. In 1982, he moved to the Burger King in Pillsbury, where he increased notoriety for pivoting struggling organizations. Herman Cain is married to Gloria Etchison Cain. The couple has two children, Melanie and Vincent. The family lives in suburbia of Atlanta, Georgia.
In 2006, Cain was determined to have Stage IV cancer growth in his colon and his liver. Cain experienced a medical procedure and chemotherapy following the diagnosis and has since revealed that he is without cancer.
In July 2020, Herman Cain was hospitalized with COVID-19. Herman Cain started to get treatment for coronavirus at an Atlanta clinic. He didn't require a respirator, and he was wakeful and alert.
