Kelsey Plum is a professional basketball player under WNBA for Las Vegas Aces. She did her studies at La Jolla Country Day School, a community school which is the part of the San Diego in California. She went to University of Washington where she was playing college Basketball. She broke the records of NCAA Division I in women category and she got picked for first overall in 2017 to join San Antonio Stars.

Kelsey Plum is a daughter of Katie, who was a volleyball player at University of California and his father is Jim Plum, he got All-American honors while playing in high school at La Mesa in California. He continued and played baseball and football on collegiate level for San Diego State. She was born with two sisters and the two play volleyball. The elder sister called Kaityln was playing under UC Davis while another sister called Lauren played with University of Oregon and for Junior National Team of USA Volleyball. Kelsey was playing volleyball at the beginning and she was the best for USA Volleyball Junior. When it came to join the high school, she decided to go to the La Jolla Country Day School and not Poway High School and this is where her sisters went. She also chooses to play basketball and not volleyball. Candice Wiggins also played in this same school.
According to her biography, in the high school, she got 2,247 points which is an average of 19.9 points for each game. She got the record of 677 rebounds, she assisted in 381 baskets and she did get 370 steals. In four years, she has a record of 103-22 and this led to the four titles and 2012 CIF division for IV state championship.
Kelsey Plum got chosen in the year 2013, to join the All America Team for WBCA High School Coaches. She did participate in WBCA High School All America Game of 2013. She got eight field goal attempts and then got 14 points.
When she was about to join the college, she had to choose Virginia or Maryland at East Coast or go to Washington, Oregon or Gonzaga on West Coast side. In the end, she chose to go to Washington.
Plum got named to be McDonald’s All America. It is the reason why she participated in 2013 McDonald’s All American Girls game. CalHiSports named her to be Ms Basketball. Other holders of this title are Diana Taurasi, Candice Wiggins, Courtney Paris and Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis.
Kelsey Plum joined the USA Basketball U19 and trained under Coach Katie Meier. She is a head coach in University of Miami. She joined San Antonio in the year 2017 with the first pick. The first game she played was against Dallas Wings and got four points and one assist. In the game against Seattle Storm, she scored her career highest points of 23 points. She is not yet married.
