Bethany Joy Lenz was born on the 2nd of April, in the year 1981, in the state of Florida, in the country of the United States of America, thereby making her an American Citizen by virtue of her birth in the country. Bethany Joy Lenz is of mixed ethnicity, belonging to Austrian, Irish and German and Scottish ancestry. Bethany Joy Lenz’s father, George Lenz, was a history teacher and a therapist and Bethany Joy Lenz’s mother, Catharine Male holt Shepard was an entrepreneur and a personnel manager by profession.

Bethany Joy Lenz’s grandfather was a singer and it was from there that she took a keen interest in singing. Since the age of three, Bethany Joy Lenz began singing at the Carpenter’s Church, located in the town of Lakeland, in the state of Florida. At the age of 7, Bethany Joy Lenz gave her debut performance on stage and it was for a local production of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Later, Bethany Joy Lenz’s family moved to Arlington in Texas and she took up dancing and acting classes at The Creative Arts Theatre. At present, Bethany Joy Lenz is dating Wes Ramsey, the duo began dating since the year 2012, shortly after her divorce from Michael Galeotti, to whom she got married in the year 2005, on the 31st of December.

In addition to this, Bethany Joy Lenz also appeared in Guiding Light, as Michelle Bauer Santos, on CBS Daytime. The show was a soap opera and gained Bethany Joy Lenz immense popularity. Apart from her career in acting, Bethany Joy Lenz is also a singer and is a prominent solo artist whilst performing and being part of a band named Everly.
