Education

Ainsley attended Sharon Elementary School in North Carolina, coincidentally like other Fox News correspondents like Anna Kooiman. While still at elementary school, Ainsley’s parents moved their family to Columbia in South Carolina. Ainsley then attended high school at the Spring Valley High School, where she successfully finished her studies and graduates in the year 1995. Ainsley performed excellently in her high school such that she later on joined the Florida State University on a leadership and academic scholarship. She did biology as her major subject.

Earhardt was just not a brilliant mind; she was also a leader in the University, where she served as a senator in student government in the university’s student body.

After studying for a while at Florida, she decided to pursue her dream career and so she transferred to the University of South Carolina, where she undertook a Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.), this time round majoring in journalism. She graduated in 1999, and at the top of her class.

Ainsley Earhardt was an outgoing person while in college. She was a member of the Aplpha Delta Pi and she was in 4 honor societies of the club. Interestingly, she even won the Caroliniana Creed Award because of her good personality, leadership and disposition. She was later on elected to the University's Homecoming Court.

Career life

Being the best performing student, Earhardt was immediately hired even before her graduation to work as a reporter for WLTX-News 19, a local CBS TV station situated in Columbia, South Carolina.

Ainsley worked in the station and performed very well. In between 2000 and 2004, she used to be the morning and afternoon anchor, and she did very well. In fact, she was rated at number 1 best anchor in the two categories. Her top notch coverage in those years was  when she travelled to cover South Carolina’s middle school students donate almost half a million dollars in New York, in order to help firefighters. This happened after some attacks on firefighters. The money was spent in buying a new fire truck to reinstate the one that had gotten lost at the World Trade Center Site.

Later on in 2005, Earhardt moved to San Antonio, Texas in the USA, where she joined KENS-TV. She anchored on weekdays on the stations Eyewitness News This Morning, which aired from 5.00am to 7:30am, and the Eyewitness News at Noon. Her performance was incredible, and she was rated as the best newscaster in both shows.

Her efforts were paid and in 2007, Ainsley moved to New York City, where she joined the well-known Fox News Channel. She works at the same channel as a co-host in FOX & Friends First to date. She has covered numerous big stories, and the world loves her.

Awards

Earhardt was received the University of South Carolina's Young Alumni Award in 2007. She was named the School of Journalism and Mass Communication's 'Outstanding Young Alumna' of the same year.

When Ainsley was working at WLTZ, she was voted as the "Best Personality of the Year" in Columbia Metropolitan Magazine.
