Tony Beets is a well known reality TV star who is famous as the owner of Tamarack Mine. He is popularly credited for being the legendary in Klondike on Gold Rush, an immensely viewed TV show where he is seen following the efforts of various family run companies, mining gold in Canada.

Personal Life

Tony Beets was born on December 15, 1959 in Wijdenes, Netherlands. At the age of 7, Tony Beets moved to Burgwerd and settled there for the greater part of his childhood and adulthood. After his father suffered from a debilitating event Tony Beets had to take over and begin working at the family farm since a very young age. Tony Beets has dual citizenship and is currently a Dutch-Canadian National. Tony Beets has the Dutch ethnic background.

At the age of 20, Tony Beets began dating Minnie, a few years later when the couple got married in the year 1984, they moved to the country of Canada together, to build their future together. Tony Beets later shifted to Whitehorse and he began as a worker at a gold mine.

At present, he has been married to his wife for over 60 years. From his marriage to Minnie, Tony Beets has 5 children, they are named Bianca, Michale, Kelvin, Jasmine and Monica. Out of the 5 children, the youngest daughter named Jasmine passed away within two and a half months after her birth in the year 1992. However, Tony Beets and his wife Minnie put up a brave face through the entire tragedy and have stuck together supporting each other through all the tough times and have emerged victorious as a couple today and are in a stable marriage with no rumours of extramarital affairs of any sort.

Career

Initially when Tony Beets and his newly wedded wife Minnie had immigrated to the country of Canada in the year 1980, he started out on a dairy farm around the area of Salmon Arm, B.C. Soon, he managed to purchase a plane ticket to Whitehorse and made the journey till there. However he had arrived way too early that season to land a mining job at the gold mine. Later, he accepted a job at a gold mine in Yukon, and this was the initial phase of his mining career and he has achieved great success ever since.

Tony Beets and his family made their debut in the second season of the TV show called ‘Gold Rush’ in the year 2010. Currently, Tony Beets works along with the Beets Crew on Paradise Hill. The television show had aired an excess of 60 episodes in it’s extended run. As of today, Tony Beets provides work to the miners part of his company.

In addition to that, Tony Beets also made an appearance in season 4 of ‘Gold Rush’. He then went on spend over $ 1 million to purchase the floating industrial dredge located on Clear Creek. According to his biography, Tony Beets earns almost $ 2 million ever year. Additionally, his net worth is about $ 5 million.
