Tomiko Nash, born Tomiko Pleshette Nash on 24th August 1979, is the U.S. actress, model, beauty queen, and television host. She won the Miss California USA in 2005, and was the first runner-up in the Miss USA in 2006. Formerly employed with “The Recording Academy” of Grammy Awards fame, and is presently busy as an actress in Los Angeles. In 2007 to 2008, she played the role of a model in the TV series entitled The Price Is Right. She was among the twenty six delegates for Miss USA, and it was shown on “Deal or No Deal” during April 2006.

Career
Nash participated in the California State pageant organized in palm Springs, and won the title of the Miss California in 2005. It was her first attempt at the pageant, and she won it. She became the third African American to have done so. She was the representative of California in the pageant for the Miss USA 2006 which was broadcast live. She was declared as the first runner-up behind Tara Conner of Kentucky. Before the declaration of the final result, Tara Conner, eventual winner, embraced Nash, and wished her good luck. It came to light later that Conner was under the impression that Nash had virtually won the title. After participating in the Miss USA pageant, she was a feature delegate in E! Special: “Hidden Lives of Miss USA”.
A controversy surfaced with respect to Tara Conner, the Miss USA, whose behaviour in many New York City bars was considered unacceptable, and it was rumoured that she might be stripped of her title. In that case, the first runner-up Nash would get the title of the Miss USA. However, after long deliberations, President Donald Trump condoned Conner for her behaviour, and she was permitted to retain the title.
Nash presently President of The Shine Foundation dedicated to women empowerment, is working as a Host and actress in and around the Los Angeles area. She has received a good package and salary throughout her career, and must have accumulated a huge net worth, but the actual figures are not available anywhere including her biography.
