Karon Riley, born Karon Joseph Riley on 23rd August 1978 in Detroit, Michigan, is a former U.S. football player. During his active playing years, he performed as defensive lineman. He played last for the Cleveland Gladiators of Arena Football League during 2007-2008. Prior to that, he had been with such football clubs as Chicago Bears, Atlanta Falcons etc. He played in National Football League (NFL). In addition to a footballer of repute, he has been an actor and producer, too. He appeared in several films such as “The Last Punch”, “35 and Ticking”, and “His, Hers, & the Truth”.

Personal Life
Born at Detroit, Karon spent his early life there at his hometown. Although much is not known about his family aand parentage, his ethnic background is African-American. He had his early education at Martin Luther King High School where he played, basketball, track field, and football. He was brilliant in all these outdoor games, but he liked particularly football, and decided to pursue it as a career. Later, he joined the University of Minnesota. He has been a multi-faceted personality as he was interested in acting, and made a mark for himself there, too. His height at 6 feet 2 inches also helped him earn a place in the football arena.
He married Terri J. Vaughan, an actress, director, and producer, on 24th April 2008. Some of her projects that made headlines include “Friday”, “All of Us”, “Girlfriends Getaway”, and a few others. They had vowed to marry on 9th January 2008, and Terry was pregnant of Karon’s child at the time of their marriage. They have been blessed with two children namely Kal’El Joseph Riley and Lola. While their first child came to this world on 24th April 2008, Lola was born on 9th October 2014. He is leading a happy married life, and has not divorced his wife as yet.
Career
To start with, Karon played football during his college and university days, but his real chance in football came when he joined Chicago Bears where he played in National Football League in 2001. He left Chicago Bears in 2002 to be associated with Atlanta Falcons. He remained with Atlanta Falcon till 2004, and switched over to Toronto Argonauts to be associated with the Canadian Football League in 2005.
In 2006, he again switched to Washington Redskins signing a contract, but was released on 28th August the same year. Lastly, he joined Cleveland Gladiators to play with Arena Football League in 2007, but left it in 2008. Altogether, he appeared in 25 matches of the National Football League, and 47 matches of the Arena Football League. His hair colour is black, his eye colour brown, and he weighs 120 Kg. He is active on Twitter, but not on Facebook, and Instagram. In addition to playing football, he acted in several films, the latest being “The Last Punch” in 2016. As per his biography, his salary is not known, but his net worth is estimated at $2 million.
