Chuck Todd was born as Charles David Todd on 8th April, 1972 in Miami, Florida to Lois Cheri and Stephen Randolph Todd. Young Todd was raised as a Jewish as her mother was Jewish. He did his high school in Miami Killian, which was located in Greater Miami. In 1990, he started studying political science as a major subject in George Washington University. He also took music as his minor in college. Though he attended college from 1990 to 1994, Todd was not able to graduate.

Todd’s started liking Politics when he started working in Senator Tom Harkin’s campaign for president in 1992. He gained political experience by working in campaigns in Florida. He also worked in presidential campaigns in Washington, D.C. While attending college, he worked part-time for The Hotline.

He joined The Hotline as the full-time employee in 1992. He continued to work for them for 15 more years till 2007. He was the chief editor for 6 full years when he left The Hotline. He became a very good political analyst, which increased his fame. He also was part of several political discussion TV shows. He appeared as a guest in Inside Politics TV show, which is a talk show on politics.

After leaving Hotline, he joined NBC in 2007 under the influence of Tim Russert. After joining NBC, he was given the role as ‘Director of Politics’ for NBC’s News. He started giving political analysis for various TV talk shows like Hardball and Morning Joe. He also took up the role of Chief Correspondent for The White House for NBC News in 2008, along with the Political director role. He was also joined ‘Meet the Press’. Meet the Press in the longest running program in American TV history. Los Angeles Time did an article on Chuck Todd, covering his rise in the TV industry. They even defined a name ‘Chuckolytes’ for his fans.

In 2009, Chuck Todd was ranked 5th place in Most Influential TV-based journalist on Mediaite, which is a website launched by TV personality, Dan Abrams. The website does the ranking on famous media figures. Todd jumped to 2nd place in the same list in 2011 and fell down to 90th place in 2013.

Todd started hosting ‘Meet the Press’ in September, 2014, which he is continuing till now. He gave up his role of Chief White House Correspondent after signing up for ‘Meet the Press’.

Chuck Todd has 2 children, a son and a daughter with his wife Kristian Todd. The couple along with their children live in Arlington, Virginia. He has a net worth of $2 million dollars.
