Michael Symon is a well known chef, TV personality, author and restaurateur who is of Sicilian and Greek descent but hails from the country of the United States of America. Michael Symon is regularly featured on shows of Food Network like Iron Chef America, The Best Thing I Ever Ate and Food Feuds, also on the Cooking Channel show called Cook Like an Iron Chef and The Chew which is aired on ABC. Michael Symon has also contributed immensely to periodicals like Esquire, Bon Appétit, Gourmet, Food Arts, O, The Oprah Magazine and Saveur.

Michael Symon is also popularly known and lauded for saving the restaurant scene in Downtown Cleveland, located in Ohio as Michael Symon is the owner and chef for many restaurants in the area of Greater Cleveland, some of which comprise of his flagships Lolita, Lola, Mabel's BBQ and the burger chain called The B Spot. In addition to this, Symon owns the Michael Symon's Roast (even called as Roast) located in the city Detroit, in the state of Michigan. On the 6th of May, 2017 he began the restaurant named Angeline (which is named after Angel, his mother) it is located at Borgata in Atlantic City, in the state of New Jersey. He has himself called his culinary skills “meat-centric”.

Personal Life

Michael Symon was born on the 19th of September in the year 1969 in the city of Cleveland, located in the state of Ohio, in the country of the United States of America, thereby making him a citizen of the country by virtue of his birth. He is originally of Greek, Eastern European and Italian Ancestry. Michael Symon was raised in the city of North Olmsted, located in the state of Ohio. It was here that Michael Symon attended the St. Richard School and later the St. Edward High School, which is located in Lakewood. He graduated in the year 1987. Post which Michael Symon took up the part time job on Warren Road, at a place called Geppetto’s Pizza and Ribs. It was here that Michael Symon began working as a cook.

Later, in the year 1990, Michael Symon completed his graduation from the Culinary Institute of America, located in Hyde Park, in the state of New York.

Michael Symon is immensely popular for the various restaurants he owns and the food that he cooks on television.
