John Dickerson was born in the year 1968 and he is American journalist. He is a co-host for CBS This Morning together with Gayle King and Norah O’ Donnell. Before, he was hosting Face The Nation with CBS News, Chief Washington Correspondent for the CBS News and The Political Director For CBS News.

John Dickerson was born in the city of Washington DC and he is a son of Claude Waytt Dickerson. Her mother is Nancy Dickerson who was also a journalist. He was born with one brother with three sisters. He grew up in the city of McLean, in Virginia. It was at Merrywood, Georgian style mansion found on a leafy bluff that overlooks Potomac River.

He graduated from Sidwell Friends School in the year 1987and he has an English Degree with distinction that he got from University of Virginia. He has written the book called On Her Trailer, where he talks about the relationship he had with his mother who is the pioneer of the television newswoman. The book was published under Simon& Shuster in the year 2006. While writing for Washington Post Review, the staff writer called Elsa Walsh said that the book is riveting. Before working for Slate, Dickerson was covering the politics at Time Magazine and he worked there for up to 12 years and the last four years, he was working like a White House Correspondent.

Dickerson became the host of Face the Nation, for three times in the year 2009 and he served like the political director at CBS News in the year 2011. He also appeared every Wednesday at The Al Franken Show for Air America Radio up to the time that this show came to an end in 2007. He was also a regular guest at Day to Day of NPR. He is appearing at Washington Week of PBS and at Slate Political Gabfest. It is a weekly podcast together with Emily Bazelon and David Plotz. Dickerson is a host at Whistlestop, which is a podcast of Slate; he talks about the presidential history.

From his biography, John Dickerson is an author for Whistlestop: My Favorite Stories from Presidential Campaign History. It was published under Twelve and it was imprinted by the Hachette Book Group, it got out in August in the year 2016.

Dickerson became the co-writer of the book called a War on Wilson. It was about the leak of Valerie Plame as CIA to the administration of Senior Bush. He is known to have his own style of how he asks the question and most of the time, the people he asks these questions fail to get the answer right way. This way of asking incisive but harmless question was named Dickersonian. When it comes to his personal life, he is a married man, his wife is Anne Dickerson and they have got two children together.
