Jacob Roloff is the youngest son of Mathew Roloff, the businessman, author, and television personality. He gained popularity by appearing on his family’s reality program titled ‘Little People, Big World’.

Personal Life

Jacob Roloff was born to Matthew James Roloff who is also known as Matt Roloff and Amy on 7th October 1997. He took birth in the city of San Francisco in California. He was raised along with his siblings in Hillsboro in Oregon. He is the youngest of his siblings, Jeremy and Zachary are the oldest, and they are fraternal twins born in 1990, Molly his sister was born in 1993.

Both Matt and Amy have dwarfism, except Zach who has achondroplasia all the other children are of normal height. His parents came across each other at the Little People of America convention that was held in 1987, they tied the knot in 1987. The marriage came to an end 2016 after separating in 2014.

Jacob is a passionate soccer player, a sport the family is fond of. Wanting to complete his studies from the comforts of his home, Jacob dropped out of school. Since 2015 Jacob has been dating Isabel Garreton. Jacob Roloff’s family owned farm has become a major tourist attraction, due to the large variety of vegetables planted throughout the farm. It is especially popular for the pumpkins which grow there.

Matt, Jacob’s father, started off as a programmer for companies like Altos during the late 1980s. Currently, he is a successful businessman with multiple ventures. Matt Roloff is the co-founder of Direct Access Solutions that aims at delivering accessibility products to people with dwarfism.

He has also taken up the role of a motivational speaker, who talks about topics related to his experience as an entrepreneur and overcoming odds in this world. Matt has given speeches in universities including Penn State, Indiana University, and New Mexico State. Roloff along with his entire family appeared on the renowned ‘Oprah Winfrey Show’.

Apart from that, he has made appearances in Good Morning America, Rachael Ray, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and others. Matt has written two books titled ‘Against Tall Odds: Being a David in A Goliath World’ published in 1999 and ‘Little Family, Big Values: Lessons in Love, Respects, and Understanding for Families Of Any Size’ published in 2007. The entrepreneur has used his fame and wealth to set up establishments to aid people who are victims of dwarfism including Coalition for Dwarf Advocacy of which he is the president. He previously served as the president of Little People of America.

Career

Jacob Roloff came into the limelight after becoming a part of the Roloff family’s show that telecasts on TLC named ‘Little People, Big World’. The show revolves around the Roloff clan in which the parents have dwarfism. The shows first episode was released in 2006 and so far has had twelve seasons. Jacob, however, is no longer a part of the show due to issues with his contract. He has appeared on six seasons of the program.
