Daren Kagasoff is an American actor who is famous for portraying Ricky Underwood on the show called ‘The Secret Life of the American Teenager’ for a span of five years. He also starred in the very famous horror movie ‘Ouija’.

Daren Maxwell Kagasoff graced the earth on 6th September, 1978 in the neighborhood of Encino, California to parents Barry Kagasoff and Elise Kagasoff. Daren was raised in a very rich family surrounded by lovable parents and two siblings named Natalie and Justin. Daren’s father used to be a diamond merchant while his mother was a designer. Daren is his parent’s second child. He belongs to Russian descent and holds an American nationality since he was born in the U.S.A.

Career

Daren Kagasoff’s career in acting began when he returned back to Los Angeles. He luckily was given a lead role in a production of ‘Suburbia’. While still in Los Angeles, Daren started auditioning for film and television roles. He had already studied acting and was fluent in it. After trying several number of times, he was able to impress a famous producer Brenda Hampton who recruited Daren for her series’ The Secret Life of the American Teenager’. The show was a huge hit in the U.S.A. and ran for five years.

In February 2013, Daren was asked to portray Alex in ‘Delirium’, which was based on a novel written by Lauren Oliver. Subsequently, Daren co-starred in a very famous and horror movie ‘Ouija’ which was directed by Stiles White. To this day, people are a fan of this movie which was released back in October 2014. ‘Ouija’ was co-written by Juliet Snowden. Daren proved his versatility as an actor when he joined the cast of ‘Red Band Society’ in 2014 which happens to be a comedy-drama series.
