The 52-year-old Chris is known as a Fox NFL who played for Ohio State Buckeyes. He came from Canton Ohio.

Education and Football career

He went to Washington high school where he graduated in 1983 and awarded a dial Award. The award was given to scholar-athlete, and he was the athlete of the year. He attended Ohio State Buckeyes to fulfill his father's request since he didn't like the University of Michigan which was Chris choice. He did recreation education where he got a degree in the Ohio state university and at the same time played in their football team.

From 1988- 1995 he played with the lions where he defended his team in the NFC titles. He was the captain of the lions in the 90's and calculated well the number of steps they would go on to score a goal. He was the best leader the team ever had and had the most tackles since the team began playing.

He got thirty passes, ten sacks, thirteen fumbies, four interceptions, and seventeen fumble recoveries since he joined the team. From 1973, he was the first team member to lead the team in a tackle for seven seasons. He Represented his squad in pro bowl from 1990- 1992 and then in 1995. He was later named the defending MVP of the team in 1993 -1994.

He joined WrestleMania XI with Lawrence Taylor. He played for Buffalo Bills in from 1996-1997 where he set tackles of 206 for the team; he suffered a neck injury which ended his time in Buffalo. In 1999 he returned to the NFL with a group called Cleveland Browns but retired before the game began because of a neck injury he got. He coached for one season in the Columbus Destroyers in 2005 which gave them a gap of two to fourteen record.

Broadcasting Career

He joined the Fox Sports Network in 1999 where he worked as a color analyst for college soccer. He was also a contributor on the Columbus FM radio, before that, he had a show called Spielman on Sports which aired from twelve PM to two PM. He also worked as an analyst in Detroit Lion in their premier; He hosted summer house in 2006. Chris Joined Fox NFL as a games analyst where he worked with Dick Stockton and Kristina Pink.

Personal Life

Chris was married to Stefanie who died of cancer; she had survived breast cancer four times. They had four children namely Macy, Madison, Audrey, and Noah. They had a campaign which aimed at raising funds for the Breast cancer center. She passed away in 2009 when cancer returned for the fifth time in her body, by then, she had lost all her hair and energy. In 2013, Spielman married Carrie Yocom and had two children Gina and Kendra. They live in the upper side of Arlington, his son Noah played football while Chris brother Rick is the General Manager of Minnesota Vikings. His biography revolves around football.
