Todd Chrisley is an American reality TV show star who is most popularly seen in Chrisley knows Best. A TV show in which Todd Chrisley appears along with his family. He is the patriarch of the family and is also the founder of the TV show.

Personal Life

Todd Chrisley was born on April 6,1969 in Georgia. He was raised in Westminster, South Carolina, where he lived along with his family comprising of two siblings named Randy Chrisley and Derrick Chrisley, Derrick however died as an infant and further details aren’t available. Todd Chrisley married his current wife, Julie in the year 1996. The couple are blessed with three children.

Todd was previously married as well, he met a woman named Teresa Terry when he was a 19 year old. Todd met Teresa at one of the get-togethers organised by him, soon the couple were seen dating and just 3 years into the relationship they got married. Todd felt he had to propose to Teresa because she was pregnant with their child. In 1989, the couple were officially married and their relationship soon was under a great deal of stress because Todd has to find a source of income, but one that helped him earn well as well as fulfil his glamorous and ambitious dreams.

The couple’s first born was a daughter named Lindsay Chrisley (b. 17th September 1989). In addition to Lindsey the couple also had another child on August 29,1991, a son whom the couple named Kyle Chrisley. The young couple had to frequently shift from one property to another due to Todd investing most of their money in different houses, resulting in them having very little money for the house they lived in.

The couple finally divorced in 1996, however until then they did see multiple rough patches in the marriage, with Teresa getting tired of Todd’s controlling behaviour and pursuit of a glamorous life. He supposedly wanted her to dress and look like she was about to attend a red carpet event all throughout the day. In the bargain, there were numerous fights over the years while Todd even saw Teresa leave the house many times. Finally Teresa left the house but with only their son Kyle and accused Todd of kidnapping their daughter Lindsey. After the divorce was finalised the duo had joint custody of their children.

After Todd married his second wife, Julie, the couple had their first child on June 1,1996, a boy named Chase Chrisley and later they had a daughter named Savannah Chrisley (b. August 11,1997).

Career

Todd has amassed a majority of his wealth by investing in real estate early on his career, he mostly purchased rundown houses and transformed them into lavish homes. Both he and his wife reaped the benefits of the property boom and were making an incredible amount of profit on the houses they sold.

The entire Chrisley family became popular quite recently when their reality show Chrisley Knows Best was aired on television on the USA Network. The show has completed five seasons and is geared up for the sixth season which will soon be aired.
