Stephanie Cutter, born on 22nd October 1968 in Taunton, Massachusetts, U.S., is a political consultant who worked as Deputy Campaign Manager for President Barack Obama during his re-election campaign in 2012. She has also played the campaign and communications roles for other members of the Democratic Party, and they include among others John Kerry, Ted Kennedy, and Michelle Obama. The New York Times acknowledged her significant role in President Obama’s campaign by describing her as a popular and polarizing factor. She used to decide what the candidate Obama cannot and would not say.

Cutter spent her early childhood in Raynham, Massachusetts, and graduated in 1986 from Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School. She got a degree of Bachelor of Arts from Smith College, and received another degree called J.D. degree from Georgetown Law School. Her mother, Grace, serves as a teacher in a school; her brother gave his services in Afghanistan.
She is possibly married secretly, and has not shared her husband’s name so far. Her marital status or relationship status got confirmed when she announced her first pregnancy in 2013. Career
Stephanie Cutter served as a junior aide to Mario Cuomo, and as Associate Administrator for Communications for the Environmental Protection Agency in the 1990s. She also worked as Deputy Communications Director for President Bill Clinton whose reputation was at the lowest ebb following Monica Lewinsky episode and subsequent impeachment move. She did admirable work in damage control of Bill Clinton’s image.
She had been the Communications Director for Senator Ted Kennedy since the beginning of 2001 to 2003 when she was selected as Communications Director for John Kerry campaign. She was severely criticized for her stern and surly personality during the campaign, and held responsible for Kerry’s defeat. On the contrary, Kerry praised her work, and considered her criticism as unfair. After this, Cutter resumed her work with Ted Kennedy.
She was appointed and designated as Chief of Staff to Michelle Obama in June 2008 for general election campaign for the Presidential election. Cutter and Michelle Obama worked in tandem, and are considered instrumental for augmenting Obama’s popularity with the public. She also worked on Obama-Biden Transition Project, and served in the Treasury Department, too.
Cutter was made advisor to President Obama for nominations to the Supreme Court in 2009, and in 2010, she was appointed as Assistant to the President for some Special projects. She again switched her job in 2011 as Deputy Senior Advisor to President Obama, and appeared on TV shows in campaign videos and ads during 2012 campaign. She served with CNN in 2013 when she announced her first pregnancy. Although she has a successful professional career, no concrete details about her net worth and salary are available.
