Thomas Mark Harmon was born in the year 1951 on the 2nd of September and happens to have acted in films and television series on the American television.

Personal Life

Harmon happens to be the son of the famed football player Tom Harmon and the actress Elyse Knox. Mark’s sisters Kristin who dies because of a heart attack in 2018 and Kristin. Harmon worked as a carpenter before achieving success in the career of acting. In NCIS, Mark’s character’s carpentry skills are admired due to the character’s hobby for building boats in the basement of his home.

Harmon married fellow actress Pan Dawber in the year of 1987 on the 21st of March. The marriage has borne 2 sons by the name of Ty Christian Harmon and Sean Thomas Harmon. They both happen to maintain a very low profile and have rarely made a public appearance along with their children.

In the year of 1987, Mark had applied for a custody of his nephew, his sister Kristen’s son on the grounds that she was incapable of being a parent to him. The child’s psychiatrist claimed that her son viewed Kristen as a dragon and that she would prevent him from interacting with his other siblings. Though Mark later dropped this case.

In the year 1988, Mark became an owner of a small baseball league based in San Bernadino in California named the San Bernardino Spirit which gave way to Ken Griffey. Mark used this team and their home base as a depiction in his movie, Stealing Home in which he was an actor himself.

In the year of 1996, Harmon made a heroic act of saving a young boy who happened to have been in an accident just near his house based in Brentwood. The driver had been fortunate to escape the car but the child was trapped in. Mark then made use of sledgehammer to gain access to the rear window of the car. The boy lived but unfortunately suffered from 30 percent body burns.

Career

Mark was born at Burbank in California and is popularly known for his roles as an actor and a creator of the famed JAG and the NCIS series for CBS studious when he was seen in THE West Wing. Mark plays the character of Leroy Jethro Gibbs for the NCIS and first made an appearance as a guest in two episodes of JAG. Since the year of 2003, Mark has appeared I NCIS by the very same character.
