Marc Bendavid is known as a Canadian stage actor and a television actor. He is most famous for his roles in A Rose For Christmas and Summer in the City. He was born on June 10, 1982, in Toronto, Canada. He was born to a mother of Belgian origin and a Jewish father of Moroccan descent. After having attended Unionville High school, Marc Bendavid was finally accepted into the National Theatre School in Canada and graduated in the year, 2004.

Marc Bendavid is known for depicting the role of Barbara Hersey’s child, Dominic Blythe in the Anne of Green Gables: A New Beginning. He also played the classic role of Romeo in the coveted drama of Romeo and Juliet. He has also played roles in the television drama series Murdoch Mysteries and also in various thrillers such as Too Late to Say Goodbye and Her Husband’s Betrayal alongside Jacqueline MacInnes Wood and Shawn Roberts on the Lifetime Network.

Bendavid has made various guest appearances and cameos in many of Canada’s most-watched series which include The Listener and Flashpoint. On Flashpoint, he guest featured as Josh on the CTV police drama series. On The Listener, he played Charlie Satie in an episode of the CTV science fiction crime drama series. He played a press operator in two episodes of The CW crime drama series Nikita in 2011.

Marc played Dylan in the Ontario clinical drama series, Hard Rock Medical. A short time later, Marc featured as Scott Brandon in the Space drama fantasy series Bitten. He had a role as Grant Yates in the MuchMusic/MTV Canada teenager drama series "Degrassi: The Next Generation" in 2014. These appearances contributed greatly to his net worth because of how popular the shows were. Degrassi ended up launching the career of a rap superstar, Drake.

Bendavid has made appearances onstage which include various roles in Salvatore Antonio’s plays In Gabriel’s Kitchen and Michael Marc’s Bouchard “The Madonna Painter “at Toronto’s Factory Theatre. He also had a role in Buddies in Bad Times Theatre and Arthur Miller’s drama, “A View from the Bridge”.

In the year 2014, Marc Bendavid had been on the lead cast in the role of “One”, playing the role of Jace Corso. He played Derrick Moss on Canada’s Science fiction tv series, the Dark Matter which aired on the Space Network in Canada and also on Syfy in the US. The series made its premiere in the year of 2015. He also played a supporting character in the role of Owen Thomas in the Hallmark Original Movie, the Angel of Christmas.

Later in the year 2016, Marc Bendavid had a leading role as Phillip in the original Hallmark movie Summer in the City. In the film, he starred opposite Julianna Guill alongside Maria Sokoloff, Natasha Henstridge, and Vivica A. Fox. In the year 2017, Marc Bendavid played the role of Cliff Baskers in the original movie, A Rose for Christmas with her costar being the very talented Rachel Boston.
