According to his biography, Gale Harold was born as Gale Morgan Harold III on the 10th of July in the year 1969 in the city of Atlanta, located in the state of Georgia, in the country of the United States of America. Gale Harold’s, by profession, was an engineer while his mother was a real estate agent. Due to Gale Harold’s parents being Pentecostals, his upbringing was strict and religious. However, when he turned 15, Gale Harold quit the church.
Gale Harold was a student at The Lovett School and after graduating from there he enrolled at the American University situated in Washington, DC. It was here that he had earned a scholarship from soccer. Soon he started his degree of Liberal Arts in romance literature and within a few months he shifted to the San Francisco Art Institute, situated in the city of San Francisco, California to pursue a degree in photography.
Career
While Gale Harold was a student at the San Francisco Art Institute, he worked a series of part time jobs including those of a bartender, construction, apprentice motorcycle mechanic & restorer and even a waiter. It was in the year 1997 that Gale Harold met Susan Landau and she suggested him to try his luck in the field of acting. Following which he moved to the city of Los Angeles and started intensive drama study for a period of 3 long years.
And by the time Gale Harold turned 28, he was admitted into the Actors Conservatory Program with A Noise Within, a classical theatre company. When Gale Harold made his debut in theatre, it was with Me and My Friends, by Gillian Plowman and he essayed the role of “Bunny”.
Gale Harold went on to be a part of various TV shows such as Queer as Folk, Desperate Housewives, The Secret Circle, Deadwood, Defiance and Grey’s Anatomy. Apart from this he has also been seen in a variety of movies.
