Personal life

Eddy Curry was born on 5th December 1982 in Harvey Illinois. He is an American by nationality. He is raised by his beloved parents Gayle Curry and Eddy Curry Sr. His birth name was Eddy Anthony Curry, Jr. He has three siblings, one brother named Jason Curry and two sisters named Beth Curry and Nicole Curry. Eddy Curry loves playing basketball since he was a child. He completed his study from Thornwood High School in South Holland, Illinois.

Eddy Curry was married twice and has seven children, one from his previous wife, four from his current wife Patrice Curry and two from his former girlfriend Nova Henry. His children’s name are Reigan Curry, Reign Curry, Reiganna Curry, Reidan Curry , Eddy Curry 3rd, Noah Curry and Ava Curry. 

Ava Curry and her Mother Nova Henry were murdered in Chicago on 25th Jan 2009 by Nova’s lawyer named Frederick Goings. Ava was just 10 months old at that time. Eddy and Nova’s three year old son Noah Curry was found unharmed at the crime scene. After his mother’s death Noah Curry was raised and taken care by Eddy curry and his wife Patrice Curry. Eddy Curry faced controversy when all this happened. 

Apart from that he was alleged in gay sexual harassment case by his former chauffeur David Kuchinsky. This lawsuit was dismissed on 28th May 2009 by Federal Judge Denise Cote. Eddy Curry also faced cardiac problem when world renowned specialist in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, Barry Maron suggested a DNA test. But, Eddy ultimately continued his career without taking the test on the basis of clearance from other experts.

Career

Eddy Curry was named 2001 Illinois Mr. Basketball for his efforts in leading his team to second place in the IHSA State Playoffs. He played for the Chicago Bulls from 2001 to 2005. After Michael Jorden in 1998 Eddy Curry becomes first Bull to lead the team in major statistics category by leading theNBA in field goal percentage, 58.5%. In the 2004-2005 seasons he was hospitalized with irregular heartbeats after leading his team in scoring which make Bull improve by 28 wins. 

From 2005 to 2011 Eddy Curry played for New York Knicks. In this period of his career Curry did not performed as expected which resulted him losing his job. But he trained himself and returned with new energy. 2011 was the NBA offseason for the Eddy Curry. 

After signing a one year contract with Miami Heat on December 10, 2011 Curry played in the NBA 2012 for the first time since 2009, against the Los Angeles Lakers. With Curry playing in 14 games for 83 minutes Miami Heat wins the NBA championship in 2012.
