Sacha Noam Baron Cohen was born on October 13, 1971 in Hammersmith, London, United Kingdom. Cohen was born into a passionate Jewish family, and he studied history at the University of Cambridge.
In the wake of choosing to pursue a career in entertainment, in 1998 he joined the TV comedy series The 11 O'Clock Show, for which he made the character Ali G, a hip-hop journalist who was forcefully and intentionally unintelligent. With his ludicrous clothing, a brilliantly shaded tracksuit, tinted shades, and designer skullcap, broken English, and freakish inquiries, Ali G interviewed clueless genuine politicians and VIPs. His incredible fame prompted Da Ali G Show in 2000. Cohen before long presented two different confused characters: Borat, a bigot, hostile to Semitic, homophobic, chauvinist Kazakh journalist, and Brüno, a gay Austrian design correspondent.
In 2005, Cohen provided the voice of the ruler of the lemurs in the animated Madagascar series, and he appeared as a French race-vehicle driver inverse Will Ferrell in the comedy Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby in 2006. That year, his film Borat made Baron Cohen an easily recognized name. Borat's experiences with clueless Americans as he traversed the United States provided for ridiculous moments. A few people featured in the film sued, and the administration of Kazakhstan took out paper promotions to counter the motion picture's unflattering depiction. Borat earned Baron Cohen a Golden Globe Award for best actor in a comedy just as an Academy Award nomination for best adapted screenplay.
Cohen co-wrote and featured in The Brothers Grimsby (2016), a government operative comedy wherein he played the hapless sibling of a professional killer and he depicted a character in Alice Through the Looking Glass (2016). With his new show Who Is America? in 2018, he created a few amazing characters to interview clueless politicians and big names to uncover their preferences.
In September 2019, at the 2019 Emmy Awards show, Cohen was involved in the Outstanding Variety Sketch Series category because of his performance on Who Is America?
