Personal life
Mike Nugent, born in the year 1982 on March 2, has spent his early childhood years in Centerville, Ohio. He developed the knack towards football from his father. When Nugent went to the Centerville High School, he was a part of the Elks football team. He played in the team as a quarterback and as well as a kicker. Nugent shared a very good bond with his teammates which made it easier for him to win the match.
Nugent made several goal records during his game period in the team. He even became a senior kicker in the team scoring two 55-yard goals. Later, he went to the Ohio State University to pursue his career in the college football team. Nugent broke 22 college records during that time which made him very popular in the university. Nugent also earned the most valuable player honour for becoming the first kicker in the school history.
Career
Mike Nugent began his career in the year 2005 with the New York Jets. He appeared in the second round of the NFL draft in the year 2005 and 2008 following an injury. After recovering from the injury, he played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers by signing an year contract. He also signed contracts with other popular teams to finally end with the Chicago Bears.
