Elizabeth Hanks’ mother is the actress, Samantha Lewes. Samantha is the ex-wife of actor Tom Hanks and Elizabeth was the second child of the couple together.

Elizabeth Hanks’ parents, Tom Hanks and Samantha Lewes separated when she was a toddler, it was in the year of 1984 that they lived apart from each other and later a divorce was finalized in the year 1987. Soon, a young Elizabeth was raised by her father Tom Hanks and his new wife, Rita Wilson, who eventually became Elizabeth Hanks’ stepmom.
