Tim Howard is an American soccer player who plays as the goal keeper for international games in favor of USA and also for the Everton club. He is a perfect humanitarian and has worked extensively for the children with Tourette syndrome and also stands against the use of mink for PETA.

Personal Life

Tim was born on March 6th, 1979 and his father was an African American truck driver and his mother was a Hungarian who worked as a container packing distributer. His parents divorced when he was 3 years old and ever since then he has had a tough life.

He attended the North Brunswick Township High School, but he did not complete it and while he was in the sixth standard, he was diagnosed with Tourette syndrome and after that he was also diagnosed with OCD. He is a staunch believer of Christianity and has a lot of tattoos all over his body. He also works as a propagator of PETA and is totally against the use of Mink.

His marriage with Laura Liebenrood in 2003 resulted in divorce after nine years in 2012 and he has two children, a son named Jacob and a daughter named Alivia. He began dating some other girl while playing for Everton and he even requested her to opt for abortion when she got pregnant as he reportedly admitted that he would not be able to afford the expenses of any other kid apart from the two children he already had.

Career

He had been an avid sports lover due to the encouragement from his father and since 1997 he started playing for the North Jersey Imperials and took up soccer as a profession. After playing 6 games with them, he soon moved over to Metro Stars where he debuted as a goal keeper and won the game over Colorado in August 1998.

He won the 2001 MLS award for the Best Goalkeeper of the year and played for 5 seasons with them before he made a move to play under the huge banner of the Manchester United Club. He played with flying colors during his tenure in the 2003-04 FA Cup and the 2005-06 League Cup.

After this, Everton signed him up as the goalkeeper and he assisted in club in a lot of victories and even his own 100th appearance while playing for the Everton club. In 2016, he joined Colorado Rapids for a three and a half year contract. Internationally, he has played for USA as a goal keeper in the under 20 team where he has saved 15 goals against Belgium. He has a net worth of $10 million dollars owing to the commercials he works for as well as the remuneration he gets from the clubs he joins in.
