Sterling Kelby Brown was born on April 5, 1976 in St. Louis, Missouri. His father, Sterling Brown Jr passed away in 1986 when the youthful Sterling was only 10 years of age. His mom is Aralean Banks Brown He was raised with two sisters and two brothers in a Christian home. He had his initial education at Mary Institute and St. Louis Country Day School and acquired a Bachelor's Degree from Stanford University in 1998.
