Samantha Bee is known as a Canadian-American comedian, writer, political commentator, actress, and television host. She is most famous for her work on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and Full Frontal With Samantha Bee.
Samantha Anne Bee was born on October 25, 1969, in Toronto, Canada. Samantha went to Humberside Collegiate Institute and York Memorial Collegiate Institute. She joined McGill University to study humanities and later transferred to the University of Ottawa after her first year. While at the college she signed up for a theater class, where she found her adoration for performing and later enrolled in the George Brown Theater School in Toronto.
Samantha was a struggling and battling actress during her beginning periods in her career. At 26 years old she toured with Sailor Moon, a stage production, where she assumed the role of the main character. Samantha joined 'The Daily Show with Jon Stewart' in July 2003 as a reporter. She was the only female journalist on The Daily Show until March 2008 when Kristen Schaal joined the show. She was likewise the first non-US native journalist. Samantha turned into the longest-serving ordinary Daily Show reporter in 2011 in the wake of passing Stephen Colbert's record. In March 2015, following 12 years, it was declared that she was leaving The Daily Show. She departed The Daily Show on April 30, 2015.

In 2001, Bee married actor Jason Jones. Bee and Jason Janes initially met in the stage production of Sailor Moon where Bee performed in Sailor Moon's "A" cast and Jason was a member of the "B" cast. Samantha has three children with Jason. Her little girl, Piper Bee-Jones was born in January 2006, her son Fletcher Bee-Jones was born in June 2008, and her second girl Ripley Bee-Jones was born in October 2010.
