Richard Marx, born Richard Noel Marx on 16th September 1963 in Chicago, Illinois, USA, has been a record producer, songwriter, pop singer, and musician. As a record producer, he has sold more than 30 million records. He is credited with a series of hit singles in the 1980s and 1990s. These singles include Right Here Waiting, Endless Summer Nights, At the Beginning, Hazard, and Now and For Ever. Many of his hit songs have been ballads, and several in Classic Rock Style.
Marx was born to Dick Marx and Ruth Jeannette Guildoo, a singer. His father has been a jazz pianist. He has three half siblings; the children of his father’s previous marriage. He had been interested in music since his very childhood, and actually started his music career at a tender age of 5.
