An outstanding basketball player of American origin, Paul Clifton Anthony George is a big name in the history of National Basketball Association (NBA).

Personal life
George was born in the year 1990 on 2 May. His birth took place in a beautiful town of Palmdale in California. He is a talented son of proud parents Paul George Sr. and Paulette George and was nurtured along with his old sisters Teiosha and Portala who played basketball and volleyball respectively. He was a huge fan of Kobe Bryant, formal player at Los Angeles Lakers Association. He is blessed with a great height of 6 ft 9 in which provides him an additional benefit in the game.
He grew up playing for Los Angeles Clippers along with his sister as a favourite pastime. He started playing for Knight High School Under the guidance of Tom Hegre. He was the only non-senior of varsity team. He was honoured with the title of Golden League most valuable player and Antelope Valley Press Player of the year award. He opted for Fresno state offer since it offered great opportunities for playing.
George played for California State University till two consecutive years. After being appreciated by the college fraternity he became more determined to take his game to the next level of perfection. He earned his careers best score of 5 points. He continued to play well in the consecutive matches and gained huge popularity. He was titled the most entertaining player in the college. He was ranked second for his great percentage of free throws.
Professional Career
After getting noticed by the Indiana pacers, he was picked up by the NBA draft 2010. He was predicted to be the best player after five years of training in the draft. He signed two year contract and a $3.9 million deal with The Pacers. He entered as a shooter but later assigned the small forward position. He was recognised as NBA All-Rookie Second Team in 2011.
Working on his defensive skills and making his game better day by day with the trainer Jerry Powell, he was elected as the designated player of the Pacers and assigned with NBA Most Improved Player Award. He was selected to represent the US national team at FIBA basketball World Cup held in Spain in 2014.
Unfortunately he injured his lower right leg and suffered a compound fracture and could not make attend the event. After returning back he put his heart and soul into the game and played better than before and earned the title of Eastern Conference Player of the month. On completion of the tenure with Indiana Pacers, he played for the United States National team at Rio Olympics in 2016.
Thereafter, he was transferred to Oklahoma City Thunder on July 6, 2017. He won against the New York Knicks in his debut game for the Thunder. He defeated several great teams like Los Angeles Clippers, Toronto Raptors, Cleveland Cavaliers and bagged great scores to his name. Due his outstanding performances he was replaced for DeMarcus Cousins who got injured during NBA All-Star Game in 2018. Currently he is playing stupendously for the Thunder. He scored 36 points and earned a record of 13 of 20 shots from long range. He is known as the best defender in the history of NBA.
