Nia Jax, born as Savelina Fanene on 29th May 1984 at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, is an Australian American wrestler and model associated with WWE. She performs in the ring in the name of Nia Jax. She is a professional wrestler and model of plus size. She is 6 feet tall, and has a body weight of 123 kg. She trained at WWE Performance Centre, and debuted on 7th May 2015.

Personal Life

Nia was born to Joseph and Renate Fanene, and spent her early childhood in Honolulu, Hawaii. She also lived for some time in San Diego, California. She joined Palomar College in San Marcos, California, and played basketball there. She had been a plus size model before she joined professional wrestling.

She belongs to German and Samoan ancestry, and is a cousin of Dwayne Johnson. She belongs to Anoai family. She along with her aunt met with an accident, and was hospitalized on 2nd August 2014. They had a head on collision with a car driven by a drunk driver who had been charged with drunk driving. As per her social media profile, she has not married anyone as yet, and in all probability, is single. The world waits with abated breath to hear the news of her marriage, and the name of her husband. Since, she has not married; she has not divorced anyone. Career

She started her career in wrestling in 2014 when she joined WWE, ad was allotted Development Terrotory NXT on the basis of her performance at WWE Performance Centre in Orlando, Florida. She debuted in the ring on 7th May 2015, the venue being NXT Show House and her ring name Zada. In August the same year, her name for the ring was altered as Nia Jax. On 14th October 2015, she appeared at 14 episodes of NXT, and defeated Evie in the match of singles.

She was declared as a villainess as she went on defeating a number of wrestlers including Carmella. She had been busy performing in the ring in November and December 2015. She had an injury in December 2015, and was out of the ring for about a month. She returned to the ring on 27th January 2016 through the episodes of NXT. He performed in different episodes of NXT during the coming months of 2016. On 19th November, Jax participated once again in the Survivor Series, but was eliminated on the basis of count out.

In 2018, the 12th March episode of Raw, Jax became a Fan Favorite on being betrayed and insulted by her best friend, Alexa Bliss, the Raw Women’s Champion. On 8th April, she defeated her opponent to win the Raw Women’s Championship for the first time in her career. The next night, she along with Ember Moon defeated James and Bliss.
