Juanita Dorricott is popular as the wife of the American origin guitarist, pianist, singer and songwriter, Robert Clark Seger who is known on stage as Bog Seger.

Personal Life

As per her biography, Juanita Dorricott was born and raised in the United States of America. No other information related to her childhood, education, and family known, as she leads a private life. Juanita married the celebrated singer Bob Seger in 1993 on the 10th of July ‘The Village Club’ located in Bloomfield Hills, the ceremony included mainly close friends and family.

The couple welcomed their first child, a son named Cole David Seger in the year 1992 and a daughter named Samantha Seger in 1995. The family resides in Orchard Lake Village in Michigan. Prior to Seger’s marriage to Juanita, he was married twice before, to Annette Sinclair for a duration of one year from 1987 to 1998 and from 1968 to 1969 he was committed to Renee Andretti.

Robert Seger, her husband, was born in Detroit, Michigan to Stewart Seger and Charlotte Seger. Some of his biggest hits include ‘Night Moves’ ‘Old Time Rock and Roll’, ‘Shakedown’ and ‘Against the Wind’, among many more. ‘Old Time Rock and Roll’ was extensively used in the 1983 film ‘Risky Business’. Bob co-wrote one of ‘The Eagles’ biggest hits Heartache Tonight.

Initially, Sanger worked along with a band but in 1971 he went solo releasing his first album as a solo artist called ‘Brand New Morning’. Later in 1974, he formed a band known as ‘The Silver Bullet Band’, of which the members were Drew Abbott, Charlie Allen Martin, Rick Manasa, Alto Reed and Chris Campbell. ‘Seven’ the 1974 album with its famous song ‘Get out of Denver’ was a huge success in Detroit.

His career was at its peak during the period 1976 to 1987 with the release of his album ‘Night Moves’. Its title song was critically acclaimed and was placed at number four on the hit singles list on Billboard’s pop singles charts. In 1981, ‘Nine Tonight’ another one of his albums, in which Seger’s spin on ‘Tryin to Live My Life Without You’ by Eugene Williams was ranked among the top five hits from the album.

In 1982, The Silver Bullet Band released ‘The Distance’ became the bands biggest career hit ranking just behind the industry’s big names such as Patti Austin, Michael Jackson. Seger had taken a gap of about ten years to spend quality time with his family, after that his first album was ‘Face the Promise’ that released in 2006, which sold over one million copies.

The album ‘Ride Out’ launched on 14 October 2014 was a commercial success, it was followed by a tour in Canada and the United States. On 15 March 2004, he was inducted into the acclaimed Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The band received a Hollywood Walk of Fame star in 1987 on 13 March. 17 November 2017 was declared as ‘Bob Seger Day’ by Lincoln Park.
