Joe Manganiello is a director, producer, philanthropist, author and primarily an actor from the United States of America and is famous for his role from the Sam Raimi’s Spiderman series for portraying the bully Flash. He has been honored as one of the 100 Fittest Men of All Time of Men’ Health. Joe has acted in more than 40 movies and has also made many appearances in various television series.

Personal Life

Born in the city of Pittsburgh in the state of Pennsylvania 1976 on December the 28th, Joe is of Dalmatian Croatian, Armenian and Italian descent and a national of the United States of America.

Joe’s mother is Susan Manganiello and father Charles John Manganiello. Joe was brought up in Mt. Lebanon in Pennsylvania. Joe also happens to have a brother by the name of Nicholas Manganiello.

Joe graduated from Mt. Lebanon High School and St. Bernard School in the year of 1995. Joe was the captain of volleyball, basketball and football teams in his school and played varsity level for all the above mentioned three sports. Joe later went on to join the University of Pittsburgh and in his university days has travelled to Los Angeles and New York to take part in various auditions.


Joe was a part of various productions during his time at the famous Carnegie Mellon University. Joe was a part of various theaters and has also acted in Herik Isben’s play “When We Dead Awaken”. After having completed his graduation, Joe moved to Los Angeles where he signed up with a talent agent.

Joe gained fame when he played a part in the famous Spiderman series portraying the character of Eugene Flash Thompson who is a bully in Peter Parker’s school. The movie was directed by Sam Raimi.
