Jason Hawes was born on 27th December, 1971 in Canandaigua, New York. He has American nationality. He never talked about his family and thus, his family information is unknown. In 1979, he moved to Warwick, Rhode Island. He graduated from Toll Gate High School in Warwick and today, he is also an actor, television host and producer.

CAREER

After knowing that he had sensitivity of paranormal phenomena Jason Hawes founded a society for support group of people who had paranormal experiences in 1990 called Rhode Island Paranormal society (RIPS). It is the first work of James as a paranormal worker. After this he is also set up The Atlantic Paranormal Society (TAPS).

He also engaged in created the television show Ghost Hunters. Ghost Hunters became the most popular show of Syfy channel. This show made Syfy channel one of the most watched channels on cable. It has 232 episodes starting from 2004 and it ended in 2016.

Jason Hawes acted as a lead investigator in all episodes of ‘Ghost Hunters’. He also produced 92 episodes of this series. 10 of those 92 produced episode were aired in the beginning of 2004.

Hawes worked in ‘Late Night’ with Canan O’Brien in 2005, and in same series, with Jimmy Fallon in 2010. Hawes also acted in a few short movies. One of those short movie is ‘Glowing’ (2007). In the TV series named ‘Larry king Live’ Hawes featured in 2007 and later in 2009. He also featured in some celebrity contest like ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire’ in 2011 and ‘Syfy 20th Anniversary’ in 2012. Two of his another TV series are ‘The Wil Wheaton Project’ and ‘Steve Harvey’. In the last series of Ghost Hunter in 2016, he plays the role of Troy. He also played the role of Infinity in 2008 of Ghost Hunter series.

He also wrote some books. Those are Ghost Hunting: True Stories of Unexplained Phenomena from The Atlantic Paranormal Society, Ghost Hunt: Chilling Tales of the Unknown, Ghost Hunt 2: MORE Chilling Tales of the unknown, Ghost Trackers: A Novel etc. He also does charities like Shriners Hospitals for Children and Cure Kids Cancer. Once he had received some threatening emails in March 2005. His net worth is almost $1.5 million.
