Personal Life
Born in the year of 1966 on the September of 25th, Jason was born in Putney in the city of London in the United Kingdom. Though a national of the United Kingdom, Jason Flemyng is a Scotsman by origin. Jason’s name at birth was Jason Lain Flemyng. His father, a famous Scotsman Gordon Flemyng happens to be a popular director for television. Jason decided to take up acting after making appearances in theatres in his school which is the Christ’s Hospital in the Sussex.
Jason attained graduation from the Richmond college and later went to the London Academy of Dramatic Arts and Music before being accepted in the very famous Royal Shakespeare Company.
In the year of 1990, Jason was in attendance of the London Academy for Music and Dramatic arts also known as the LAMDA where his classmate was the popular Hermione Norris. After having graduated from the LAMDA, Jason went on to join the Royal Shakespeare Company.
Career
As for Jason’s illustrious career, Jason attained popularity for his depiction as a cameo in the popular American tv series known as the Young Indiana Chronicles in the year of 1992. Jason made frequent appearances in Doctor Finlay of the ITV series in the years between 1993 and also 1996.
His first appearance was in the Jungle Book in the year of 1994. His first appearance in the film series was in the 1996 film Hollow Reed by Angela Pope where he portrayed the role of a frequent child abuser after which he made an appearance in a popular movie by Guy Ritchie in the year 1998 gangster film based in London, named the Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.
There are stories that Jason evidently lost an enormous amount of money while his filming of the movie and he had to work on set for a period of 4 days without receiving any pay for his work. He made further appearances in many other films like The Red Violin and also the Deep Rising inn the year 1998, movie Snatch in the year 2000, Bruiser by George A. Romero in the year of 2000 and also Rock Star in the year of 2001.
