James D'Arcy was born in 1975, August 24 in Amersham, Buckinghamshire, England. The actor has spent most of his childhood in Fulham, London. He and Charlotte, his sister, were either alone or with their mother when she was not working as a nurse. Their father Richard passed away during the time when the children were really young. The family struggled but they still were able to make a living, no matter the odds. The actor has people who are close to him in England, Ireland, and Scotland. In 1991, James graduated The Bluecoat School, an independent day and boarding school located in West Sussex. After this, he decided to spend some time in Australia and enrolled in drama school in Perth. This gave him an idea of becoming an actor. After making his return to Britain he immediately moved to London where he tried applying for drama school to pursue his dream in becoming an actor. London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art accepted his application and he spent three years there. He finished the drama school with a Bachelor's degree in Acting.
James began his work in movies and TV shows by starring in Silent Witness, a British crime drama in 1996. The same year he was also able to get more work and appeared in Daiziel, Pascoe, and Brookside. D'Arcy then worked in various movies and television series. 1997 was an especially successful since he was working on 6 different movies or TV shows, including The Ice House and Wilde, a biographical film by Brian Gilbert. The actor progressed his career even more so until the new millennia. Different work in different types of projects ensured that he was on a right path. In 2001, the actor starred in Stephen Whittaker's The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby, a British television film that was based on one of the greatest writers the world has ever seen, Charles Dickens' work. The actor appeared in more than 60 different movies or television shows. One of his more recent ones was in Andy and Lana Wachowskies' directed science fiction movie Jupiter Ascending. It could be called a space opera, even though that sounds pretty vague, it featured the likes of Sean Bean, Mila Kunis, and Channing Tatum, all high-profile actors. Despite that, however, the movie was not a very good one and was a failure in terms of the Box Office.
James D'Arcy is not seeing anyone and it doesn't look like he is planning to have a wedding soon. Being married is not on his list of priorities. He was with his partner Lucy Punch but they separated due to constant conflicts.
The actor isn't using Twitter and expressed his dislike of social media as a thing. His height is 6 feet and 3 inches and his net worth is about 3 million dollars.
He got recognized with a nomination in 2002. This was for his acting in Edward II.
The British actor surely isn't someone who regular people would consider to be really famous. However, he is still a young person and it seems like he has a lot to prove. It would not surprise others if he became one of the better actors in the future.
