Jackie Ibanez is an American journalist who was born on November 7, 1985, in Logan, Utah, in the United States. She attended Sky View High School and upon graduating in 2003 went on to attend a Quinnipiac University in Connecticut. She graduated from Quinnipiac University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism. Ibanez wanted to be a journalist from a young age and received support from her parents. While attending university, Ibanez was an intern at NBC Sports. In 2006, she became a student correspondent for MSNBC News. Ibanez stayed at MSNBC News for a year before accepting a job as a producer at WWLP-TV in 2007.

Just four months into the job, Ibanez was promoted to reporter and anchor. She decided to leave WWLP-TV in 2010 and joined a New York City public relations firm called Coltrin & Associates as a managing director. After a year at the firm, Ibanez left to return to journalism and signed to News 12 Connecticut as a freelance reporter. She was promoted to morning anchor but after two years she left the network to join the Fox News Channel where became the anchor for the overnight breaking news segments. Ibanez went on to interview the first lady Melania Trump in 2017. She married Eddie Ibanez and in 2012 the couple had their first child, a daughter named Dakota. She went on to have another daughter named J.J. followed by a son named Vince Bo in 2017.
