Federico Bernardeschi was born on February 16, 1994, in Carrara, Italy. His father's name is Alberto Bernardeschi.
Federico Bernardeschi started his pro soccer career with Atletico Carrara and Polisportiva Ponzano. His nickname is Brunelleschi, after the celebrated Florentine modeler, for his method and tastefulness on the pitch. In 2003, he moved to the Fiorentina youth system, where he went through 10 years, before burning through one season on credit at Crotone during the 2013–14 season. He came back to Fiorentina the next season.
In July 2017, Bernardeschi was offered to Juventus. At the worldwide level, he has represented Italy at the youth level since 2011, eventually making his senior presentation in 2016. He was a member of the country's crew at UEFA Euro 2016.
