Chris Cuomo was born on 9th August, 1970 in Queens, New York to parents Mario and Matilda Cuomo. Chris was the youngest of his four other siblings who were all raised in Queens itself. Chris belonged to an affluent family as his father used to be a Democratic politician back in 1982 when Chris was only twelve. Chris’ father Mario Cuomo was elected as a governor of New York which resulted in the family shifting into the Governor’s Mansion which was then based in Albany. Growing up, Chris shared a good relationship with his elder brother Andrew Cuomo who looked after him during their father’s absence.
Descending from a pedigree of opulent persons, it wasn’t a strenuous task for Chris to opt for a career in law once he graduated from the Fordham University in the year 1995. Chris Cuomo was always regarded as the most erudite person in the room by his friends and teachers. He was declared “New York’s most eligible bachelor” by the W Magazine. Chris Cuomo married the editor of ‘Gotham Magazine’ Christian Greeven in 2001. The couple married in a traditional Roman Catholic ceremony in New York. The couple has been blessed with three kids namely Carolina, Mario and Bella and the family resides in Manhattan.

Chris Cuomo began with a career in journalism by working at MSNBC, CNBC and CNN as a reporter in political and social issues. Chris began working at CNN as a co-host of its show titled ‘New Day’ since the year 2013. That very year, Chris made his debut working as a field anchor for just a single episode in ‘Piers Morgan Tonight’ wherein he covered the 2013 February nor’easter.
Before working as an anchor at the prestigious CNN, Chris had experience of working at Fox Broadcast Network’s Fox Files and Fox News Channel wherein he covered several social issues. Chris has also worked in ABC’s 20/20 wherein he talked about various interesting issues such as the Haiti earthquake, addiction of heroin, bullying, child custody, homeless teenagers, etc. He has also worked for three years as a news anchor for ‘Good Morning America’.
