Background

Beth Chapman was born as Alice Elizabeth Smith on October 29, 1967 in Denver, Colorado, USA. Beth had a famous father, Garry Smith, who played in Major League Baseball for the Kansas City Athletics.

Career

She became a licensed bail bondsman at young age 29 which was the youngest recorded age for a bounty hunter in Colorado history. This record was then broken by her step-daughter, Lyssa Chapman, who became a licensed bounty hunter at the even younger age of 19.

Through her long career as a producer and actress, Beth has become known for many projects such as Corner Gas (2004), Dog the Bounty Hunter (2003) and Hawaii Five-0 (2010).

Personal Life

Beth has been married to her long time husband, Duane 'Dog' Chapman since May 20, 2006. They have two children together from their relationship. She was previously married to another man named Keith A. Barmore.

Duane 'Dog' Chapman and Beth tied the marriage knot in Hawaii, a day after his daughter, Barbara-Katie Chapman, died in car accident in Fairbanks, Alaska on May 20, 2006.
